Join our dedicated Children's Assessment and Planning (C&F) Team in Bedford as a Qualified Social Worker, where your expertise will make a significant difference in the lives of children and families. In this rewarding role, you will collaborate with multi-agency teams to conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans that promote the welfare of children. Working closely with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure coordinated support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, MA in Social Work, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families.
