Join our dedicated Children's TM - Locality Team in Rotherham and make a positive impact in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to provide high-quality support and intervention to vulnerable children, ensuring their safety and well-being. As part of our team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver effective services that promote the welfare and development of children in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing appropriate care plans. Conducting regular home visits to monitor the progress of children and ensure compliance with safeguarding standards. Working closely with schools, health services, and other agencies to coordinate support and resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in line with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to continually enhance your professional development.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
