Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Assessing the needs of children and their families to develop appropriate care plans
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster carers to ensure the well-being of children in their care
  • Conducting regular visits and reviews to monitor the progress and development of children in foster placements
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services and support for children and families

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
