  • Conducting regular reviews of care plans for children and young people in care, ensuring their rights and wishes are prioritized.

  • Monitoring the quality of care provided, identifying any areas for improvement and advocating for necessary changes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, adhering to statutory guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote best practices and improve outcomes for children.

To be considered for this vital role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • At least two years of post-qualification experience in children’s social work.
  • Strong knowledge of legislation related to child welfare and safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
