Are you a passionate social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of families? Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking a dedicated Family Help Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential support to families facing challenges, ensuring their well-being and fostering positive outcomes for children and parents alike.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of families and develop tailored support plans. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to deliver effective interventions. Monitoring and reviewing progress, ensuring that families receive the necessary resources and support. Providing advice and guidance to families on issues such as parenting, financial management, and accessing community services. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records to comply with legal and organizational standards.To thrive in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in child protection or family support settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
