We are seeking a qualified Children’s Social Worker to join our Child Protection/Children in Care (CP/CIC) Team in Nottingham. As a Children's Social Worker in our CP/CIC Team, you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties aimed at safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families. Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure the best outcomes for children in care. Managing a caseload of children in need and those at risk of harm. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families. Preparing reports and attending court hearings as required.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and working with children in care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
