In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children in our community.
As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by children and their families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the welfare of children and support family reunification where appropriate. Working closely with multi-agency teams to safeguard children and ensure effective communication between all parties involved. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as needed.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working in children's social care, particularly in safeguarding and support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
