Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Wiltshire's Children's Support and Safeguarding Team is seeking a qualified social worker to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children in our community.

As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by children and their families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the welfare of children and support family reunification where appropriate. Working closely with multi-agency teams to safeguard children and ensure effective communication between all parties involved. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working in children's social care, particularly in safeguarding and support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Join our dedicated team in Wiltshire as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) specializing in Support & Safeguarding. We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of those in your care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with clients and other stakeholders. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure that interventions are effective and outcomes are achieved. Providing guidance, support, and advocacy for families navigating complex systems. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with local policies and statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection, safeguarding, and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to working in a person-centered manner.
