As a Children's Social Worker in our Help & Protection Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.
  • Attending court hearings and providing evidence as required.
  • Working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly within a Help & Protection setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
