We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Development Senior Social Worker to join our team in Slough. This role offers a competitive salary of £40 per hour in the Qualified Social Work field.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to social work staff to enhance their practice and ensure high-quality service delivery
- Develop and deliver training programs to support the professional development of social work staff
- Conduct audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance practice standards
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to promote best practices and improve outcomes for service users
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England
- Demonstrated experience in a senior social work role, with a strong understanding of current legislation and best practice guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with staff, service users, and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges in practice
