About the Role:

Caritas Futures is supporting leading charity with Senior Refuge Practitioner to lead and manage our team in providing essential services within city refuges. You will coordinate specialist housing advice, implement enhanced security measures, and ensure safe accommodation for individuals in need. This role involves overseeing support plans, managing staff, and fostering a supportive environment for residents.

In this role:

  • To manage support services and coordinate a range of activities within the city refuges, while supervising the team delivering:
    • Expert housing guidance
    • Increased security as part of an integrated care and support strategy
    • Housing solutions for those requiring accommodation.


Essential Requirements:

  • A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to undergo one).
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a Car.
  • A female candidate to work within a female-only service.
  • Previous experience as Domestic Violence, Homelessness, Housing, in a related role, or transferable skills from another field.
