We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Adult Learning Disability and Autism team in Charnwood. Offering a competitive rate of £34 per hour, this role presents an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults with learning disabilities and autism. You will work collaboratively within a supportive team to deliver high-quality social care services, ensuring the well-being and empowerment of our service users.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of needs and risks for adults with learning disabilities and autism. Developing and implementing person-centered care plans that promote independence and quality of life. Working with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate support services. Providing guidance and support to families and carers, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience working with adults with learning disabilities and autism. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and their families. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
