Join our dedicated Children's Safeguarding Team in Loughborough, Leicestershire, as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW). In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and young people. You will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in need of support. Your expertise will be vital in assessing situations, developing care plans, and providing direct support to families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in line with safeguarding policies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to promote effective service delivery. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence when necessary.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work and safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills.
