Practice Manager - Specialist Adolescent Service Hertfordshire

Join Central SASH, an intensive intervention team within the Specialist Adolescent Service Hertfordshire (SASH). We're seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead and support a skilled team working with vulnerable young people.

What you'll do:

  • Supervise and support adolescent practitioners (non-case holding role).
  • Lead consultations with SASH teams and Family Safeguarding Service.
  • Work closely with Rapid Response, ARC, CAMHS, and Families Together to prevent crises.

Key focus areas:

  • Child Sexual & Criminal Exploitation
  • Family breakdown prevention
  • Missing children and homelessness
  • Young people at risk of radicalisation
  • Rehabilitation after care

About you:

  • Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered).
  • Experience in line management, contextual safeguarding, CIN, CP, and court work.
  • Strong leadership and ability to manage complex cases.
  • Must be a driver with access to a car.

Role details:

  • Location: Hemel Hempstead (free parking, local amenities).
  • Contract: Temporary (Maternity Cover), 3 months.
  • Pay: £42.50 per hour | Start: 03 Nov 2025.
  • Hours: Full-time, 37 hrs/week, Mon-Fri.
  • DBS: Enhanced required.
