Join the South Gloucestershire Youth Justice Service as a Qualified Social Worker and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people. We are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting at-risk youth and their families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to prevent reoffending, promote rehabilitation, and enhance community safety.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing tailored intervention plans for young offenders. Engaging with families and community resources to support the rehabilitation process. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of young people in the program. Providing direct support and guidance to young individuals to facilitate positive behavioral changes. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including schools, law enforcement, and social services.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in youth justice or working with vulnerable young people. Strong assessment and intervention skills.
