To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Significant post-qualifying experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
