We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Fostering Support Team in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community. The successful candidate will work on a temporary basis, earning £38 per hour under an Umbrella company arrangement. If you are passionate about fostering and have a commitment to supporting vulnerable children, we would love to hear from you.

As a Social Worker in the Fostering Support Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments of prospective foster carers and ensuring they meet the necessary standards. Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster families, helping them navigate challenges and celebrate successes. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with legislation. Participating in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in fostering practices.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., degree in Social Work or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working in a fostering or child protection setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
