Join our dedicated Children's Adoption Team in Devon as a Qualified Social Worker (ASW) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing adoption processes, ensuring the best outcomes for children and their prospective families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and prospective adoptive families. Developing and maintaining case plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to families throughout the adoption process. Preparing and presenting reports for court hearings and adoption panels. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and adoption processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
