Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker with a strong background in Assessment teams? We're working with a well-regarded Hertfordshire local authority seeking a confident and skilled practitioner to join their 0-25 Together Service.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking service that focuses on delivering high-quality assessments and interventions for children, young people, and their families.
Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake statutory assessments in line with legislation and best practiceManage a varied caseload involving children and young people aged 0-25Produce clear, analytical, and timely reports and care plansWork collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure positive outcomesParticipate in safeguarding processes, including Section 17 and Section 47 enquiriesEssential RequirementsMinimum 3 years' permanent post-qualified experience within an English Local AuthorityStrong, recent experience within Children's Assessment teamsSocial Work England registrationExcellent communication, organisational, and assessment skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environmentWhat's on OfferCompetitive rate of £39 per hourSupportive management and team structureOpportunity to make a real difference in children's livesFlexible working arrangements where possibleReferral Bonus
