Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs and circumstances. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with clients and their families. Collaborating with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective service delivery. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to confidentiality and safeguarding protocols.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in adult social work, particularly with vulnerable populations. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions. Caritas Futures is proud to support a leading charity dedicated to providing vital support to families affected by domestic violence. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Children Support Workers for full-time, temporary ongoing roles based in Baldock / Waltham Cross.
Role Overview:
As a Children Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people who have experienced domestic violence. You will provide essential emotional and practical support to help children and their families recover from the trauma of abuse, ensuring their safety and well-being in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Offer emotional and practical support to children who have been impacted by domestic violence.Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of each child.Ensure the safety and welfare of children, conducting risk assessments and identifying immediate needs.Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, schools, and family support services, to provide a holistic approach to care.Support children in rebuilding their sense of stability, emotional well-being, and confidence.Work with families to help them navigate housing, social services, and other support systems.Essential Requirements:
