Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker with a strong background in Assessment teams? We're working with a well-regarded Hertfordshire local authority seeking a confident and skilled practitioner to join their 0-25 Together Service.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking service that focuses on delivering high-quality assessments and interventions for children, young people, and their families.

Caritas Futures is proud to support a leading charity dedicated to providing vital support to families affected by domestic violence. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Children Support Workers for full-time, temporary ongoing roles based in Baldock / Waltham Cross.

Role Overview:
As a Children Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people who have experienced domestic violence. You will provide essential emotional and practical support to help children and their families recover from the trauma of abuse, ensuring their safety and well-being in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Offer emotional and practical support to children who have been impacted by domestic violence.Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of each child.Ensure the safety and welfare of children, conducting risk assessments and identifying immediate needs.Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, schools, and family support services, to provide a holistic approach to care.Support children in rebuilding their sense of stability, emotional well-being, and confidence.Work with families to help them navigate housing, social services, and other support systems.

Essential Requirements:

A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to undergo one.A strong commitment to the safety and well-being of children affected by domestic violence.Experience working with children in vulnerable circumstances, ideally within a domestic violence or safeguarding context.Ability to work full-time hours in Baldock / Waltham Cross.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
