As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with children, families, and multi-agency partners.
  • Providing direct support and intervention, ensuring the safety and welfare of children in care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and supervision to discuss cases and share best practices.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Proven experience in children's social work, particularly with children in care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
