Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Team Social Worker to join our CWD (Children with Disabilities) Team in Sutton. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to provide high-quality support and interventions for children with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met and their potential is maximized.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other stakeholders. Providing direct support and interventions to children and their families, ensuring a holistic approach to care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with local and national policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the safeguarding of children.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop tailored support plans.
