We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Children in Care Team in Birmingham. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.
  • Collaborating with external agencies and services to provide holistic support.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience working within a children in care or child protection setting.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a caseload efficiently.
