Join our dedicated Families Together & OOH Team in Leicestershire as a Children's Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children and families. In this rewarding position, you will work collaboratively with families to assess their needs, develop effective intervention plans, and ensure the safety and well-being of children. Your expertise will be vital in driving positive outcomes for children within the community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in family support and out-of-home care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
