Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in need.
  • Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to implement safeguarding measures.
  • Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and support.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, frameworks, and best practices in child safeguarding.
