We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Team Manager (C&F) to join our dynamic team in Conwy. As a key player in the Qualified Social Work field, you will lead a committed group of social workers, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and families in need. Key responsibilities include:
Managing and supervising a team of social workers, providing guidance and support in their casework. Ensuring compliance with local and national policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. Overseeing the assessment and intervention processes to safeguard children and promote their welfare. Developing and maintaining effective partnerships with other agencies and stakeholders. Contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery through training and development initiatives.Essential qualifications and skills required for this position include:
A recognised social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales or equivalent regulatory body. Significant experience in children's social work, including managerial or supervisory experience. Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
