Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans to support children and families.
  • Working collaboratively with schools, health services, and other agencies to implement safeguarding measures.
  • Managing a caseload of children in need, ensuring timely interventions and support.
  • Preparing reports for court proceedings and attending hearings as required.
  • Providing guidance and support to families, helping them to access resources and services.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA, MA in Social Work).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
