Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support.
  • Collaborating with police, health services, and educational institutions to gather information and develop safeguarding plans.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to other professionals and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant degree in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The capacity to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
