Join our dedicated team in Trafford as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) within the Learning Disability Team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate professional who is committed to improving the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. In this role, you will work collaboratively with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality support and services tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of individuals with learning disabilities.
- Developing and implementing person-centered care plans that promote independence and well-being.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to individuals and their families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, educators, and community organizations to facilitate a holistic approach to care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in social work, particularly within learning disabilities or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
