Social Worker - UASC/Age Assessment | Trafford Families First

Trafford Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker with UASC/Age Assessment experience to join our Families First (Child in Need) service. This hybrid role requires at least 3 days in the office, with flexibility and an ASAP start. Pay rate: £35/hr.

You will work on a locality basis, undertaking social work assessments, section 47 enquiries, and holding a manageable caseload of children supported through Child in Need plans. You will also build strong relational partnerships with families to support step-down of plans safely and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in UASC and Age Assessments.

  • Ability to work in a hybrid model with at least 3 office days per week.

  • Strong relational and assessment skills.
