We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Tower Hamlets, specializing in supporting individuals with learning disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to vulnerable individuals and their families.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Assessing the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and developing personalized care plans
  • Providing advocacy and support to ensure individuals have access to appropriate services and resources
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver holistic care and support
  • Conducting risk assessments and safeguarding interventions as necessary
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and adjust support plans

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker (QSW) status with relevant experience in the field of learning disabilities
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and their families
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to social work practice
