The London Borough of Merton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Locality Team. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments and reviews of adult service users to identify their needs and develop tailored support plans. Working with individuals, families, and other professionals to facilitate effective interventions and promote independence. Managing a diverse caseload, ensuring compliance with local and national policies and procedures. Providing advice and guidance to service users, their families, and carers, empowering them to make informed decisions. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in adult social care, preferably within a locality team. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex cases.
