Senior Practitioner - Adult Safeguarding Triage - Herefrodshire

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Adult Safeguarding Triage team in Herefordshire. This pivotal role will involve assessing and responding to safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in our community. As a Senior Practitioner, you will lead a dynamic team, providing expert guidance and support while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence in safeguarding practices.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of safeguarding concerns and determining appropriate responses.
  • Leading triage meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among multi-agency partners.
  • Providing supervision and support to junior practitioners, promoting professional development and best practices.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Engaging with service users, families, and stakeholders to ensure their voices are heard and respected in safeguarding processes.

To be considered for this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, BA in Social Work, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Significant experience in adult safeguarding, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
