In this role, you will ensure the safety, well-being, and development of vulnerable children and young people, working collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to promote positive outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Providing direct support to children and young people, advocating for their rights and needs.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to case reviews.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly in a looked-after context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
