Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of support, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are prioritized.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals.
  • Providing advice and guidance to families and other stakeholders regarding available services and support options.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding investigations as necessary.

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Proven experience in adult social work, particularly within safeguarding and risk assessment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
