We are seeking an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of social workers, providing guidance and support while ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children and their families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of social workers, ensuring effective case management and service delivery.
  • Overseeing the assessment and intervention processes, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
  • Developing and implementing team objectives and performance targets, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Providing supervision, support, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Collaborating with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding children.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England or equivalent regulatory body.
  • Significant experience in children's social work, with a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and practice.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage complex cases and lead a team effectively.
