  • Assisting in the management and supervision of a team of social workers and support staff.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Providing guidance and support on complex casework, ensuring best practice is followed.

  • Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
