Ealing Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Team Manager for our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team. This pivotal role will support the Team Manager in delivering high-quality social work services to children and families in need, ensuring their safety and well-being. As the Deputy Team Manager, you will be responsible for:
Assisting in the management and supervision of the MASH team, providing guidance and support to social workers. Overseeing the assessment and decision-making processes regarding child safeguarding concerns. Collaborating with partner agencies to ensure a coordinated response to safeguarding cases. Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance service delivery. Participating in performance management and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of practice.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding within a social work context. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
