Join our dynamic Duty and Assessment Team in Telford & Wrekin as an Advanced Practitioner! We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to provide high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families in our community. You will play a crucial role in assessing needs, developing intervention strategies, and working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver effective support.
As an Advanced Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in crisis. Developing and implementing tailored care plans that promote positive outcomes. Providing expert guidance and supervision to less experienced social workers. Leading complex case discussions and contributing to team decision-making. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in children's social work. Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
