As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading assessments and managing duty cases, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Providing high-quality supervision and guidance to social work staff. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop effective care plans. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards. Managing complex cases and making critical decisions in high-pressure situations.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker status with a valid Social Work England registration. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualifying experience in children's social work. Demonstrated expertise in assessment and intervention strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
