Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of family needs and risks, developing tailored intervention plans. Leading case management for complex cases, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and trainees, fostering their professional development. Engaging with families and stakeholders, building strong relationships to facilitate effective communication and trust. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements and organizational policies.To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, BA Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and family support, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse families.
