We are currently seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Assessment team in Hertfordshire (Hemel Hempstead) focusing on children and young people with disabilities aged 0-25. This is a hybrid position offering a competitive rate of £37 per hour.

Key responsibilities and duties for this role include:

  • Undertaking assessments of children and young people with disabilities to determine their needs and develop care plans.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to provide holistic support to service users.
  • Conducting home visits, meetings, and reviews to monitor progress and ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and safeguarding investigations as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current HCPC registration.
  • Experience working with children and young people with disabilities within a statutory setting.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload and work effectively under pressure.

  • Flexibility to work both remotely and in the office on a hybrid basis.
