Children's SW - CWD Team - Wiltshire

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team in Wiltshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Undertake assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop appropriate support plans.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to coordinate and deliver services that meet the needs of children with disabilities.
  • Provide direct support and interventions to children and families, including safeguarding vulnerable children.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and case conferences to review and plan the ongoing support for children and families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in line with statutory requirements.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities and complex needs.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and develop appropriate support plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and partner agencies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
