We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Children’s TM - C&F Team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, develop support plans, and provide interventions that promote the safety and well-being of children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing care plans for children and families.
  • Working closely with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and support.
  • Participating in team meetings and case reviews to share insights and improve practices.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory and organizational guidelines.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in child protection and family support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
