The London Borough of Ealing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children’s Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Team (MAST). This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As a Children’s SSW, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to provide support and intervention to children at risk, promoting their welfare and development in a nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks, developing and implementing effective care plans. Working closely with families, schools, and other professionals to coordinate services and support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local policies and statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions regarding child protection and safeguarding. Providing advice and guidance to families, empowering them to access resources and support.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
