Join the Family Safeguarding Team in Cambridgeshire as a Children's Social Worker and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to provide high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, multi-agency partners, and community resources to promote positive outcomes for children and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and family dynamics. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely interventions and support. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them to build resilience and improve their circumstances. Participating in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to enhance practice and share knowledge.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
