Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? The London Borough of Havering is seeking a committed Children's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing child protection plans in partnership with families and other agencies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies. Providing emotional support and guidance to children and families, facilitating access to services and resources.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
