We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Together for Families Team in Reading. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs and risks of children and families to develop effective intervention plans.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the welfare and safety of children.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to children and families through counseling, advocacy, and practical assistance.
  • Completing detailed case documentation and reports to maintain accurate records of interventions and progress.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification.
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
