We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our fostering team in Northamptonshire. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for a range of duties including:

  • Providing supervision and support to foster carers, ensuring they meet the needs of the children in their care.
  • Conducting assessments and reviews of foster placements to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Developing and implementing training programs for foster carers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborating with local authorities, schools, and other agencies to advocate for the best interests of children.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in fostering or children's social work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
