RBKC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Locality Team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work services to children, families, and vulnerable adults within our community. You will lead assessments, develop care plans, and ensure the delivery of effective interventions that promote well-being and safeguard individuals at risk.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored care plans. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and social work students. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery. Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in case conferences and contributing to strategic planning initiatives.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in a statutory social work setting, particularly within a locality team. Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a commitment to best practice.
