We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Children in Need (CIN) Team in Islington. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring their needs are met and their voices heard.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Attending and contributing to multi-agency meetings, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in a CIN context. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships with children and families.

Islington is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Children in Need (CIN) Team.
