  • Working closely with foster carers, residential staff, and other agencies to promote the welfare and development of children in care.
  • Participating in court proceedings and providing evidence as required.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly within a looked after children context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child welfare and protection.
