We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Need (CIN) Team in Harrow. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children and families, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for those in need. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of children in need, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions are made. Providing support and guidance to families, promoting resilience and positive parenting. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with local authority policies and procedures. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding initiatives.The successful candidate must hold a recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, a comprehensive understanding of child protection legislation, and experience in working with children and families in a social work setting. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and possess excellent organizational skills to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
